Most businesses can be fully set up and running within a short time, depending on the condition of the current books. The process is designed to get your books organized and accurate (without adding more to your plate) so you always have clear, up-to-date information to make the right decisions for your business.
Step One: Initial Consultation
We’ll start with a short conversation to understand your business, your current bookkeeping setup, and what you need and expect from a bookkeeping service.
Step Two: Access and Setup
Once we decide Index Line is the right fit for your business, secure access is set up to your QuickBooks Online account and financial data so everything can be reviewed and organized. You won’t need to figure everything out on your own. I’ll walk you through what access or information is needed at each step.
Rest assured, all client information is handled securely and treated confidentially.
Step Three: Cleanup and/or Catchup (If Needed)
If your books need updating or correction, I’ll get everything brought current so your records start from a clean, reliable foundation.
Step Four: Ongoing Bookkeeping
Your books are maintained on an ongoing basis through weekly transaction review, monthly reconciliation, and clear reporting.
Step Five: Review and Support
You’ll receive clear financial reports that help you understand where your business stands, along with support if questions come up.
